How do solar inverters work?

While solar panels are often the visual symbol associated with solar energy, the true workhorse behind the scenes is the inverter. When you're transitioning to solar power, selecting the right inverter technology is the most crucial decision you'll need to make. A solar inverter works by taking in the variable direct current, or 'DC' output, from your solar panels and transforming it into alternating 120V/240V current, or 'AC' output. The appliances in your home run on AC, not DC, which is why the solar inverter must change the DC output that is collected by your solar panels.

Choosing an Inverter

Based on the size of your PV system, we have suitable Inverters to compliment the package.

Enphase, Fronius and Sungrow

We use multiple manufacturers are they specialize in different types of installations. Choos the one that suits you and your budget.

ENPHASE

The Enphase IQ 7A Microinverter is designed for use with specific types of solar panels. It's part of the seventh-generation IQ platform and can work with smart grids.

FRONIUS PRIMO

The Fronius Primo is a great addition to the SnapINverter family, offering power options ranging from 3.0 to 6.0 kW.

SUNGROW

These string inverters are commonly employed in various solar applications, including residential and commercial projects
