What we install
Start with panels or go the whole way to a battery and an EV charger. Either way we design around your bills and what you’re planning next, and we’re still on the phone years later.

Put your roof to work.
Panels sized to your roof and your bills, so daytime power comes from above you instead of the grid. Most systems pay for themselves in 3–6 years.

Keep your solar for after sunset.
Store the surplus and run the evening on it instead of buying power back at peak rates. The federal battery discount is open now.

Make your working hours work for your bill.
Sheds, shops, cool rooms and offices run in daylight, exactly when panels produce.

Our work
Every photo here is our own work and our own people, taken by our crews or posted on @cesolutions1.

A farm shed that earns its keep.
Tilt-mounted panels on a big shed roof, making power while the farm is at work. Got a shed? Send us a bill and we’ll size a system for it.

A tile roof with plenty of angles.
A big tile roof with the panels spread over several sections. We planned the layout from drone photos before the crew went up.

One roof face, one tidy array.
All the panels together on the best side of a light tin roof. Simple layouts like this are quick to install and easy to service.

Two battery stacks, two inverters, one EV charger.
A larger home setup in the garage: two battery towers, Fronius inverters and a wall-mounted EV charger, with bollards so the car can’t reach them.

Two of the crew, mid-install.
Clamping panels to the rails on a tin roof. Our own electricians do the work, not subcontractors.

A big Colorbond roof.
Panels on several sides of a large Colorbond roof. That’s our ute in the driveway, racks still on.

A two-storey tile roof, fully used.
Panels on five sections of a dark tile roof, worked around the hips and a skylight. We map a roof like this from above before anyone climbs a ladder.

Two Powerwalls, out of the weather.
A pair of Tesla Powerwalls under a purpose-built cover beside the meter box. Placement and shading are part of every battery design.

Rebates
Every eligible solar install gets the federal STC discount on panels, and eligible home batteries get the federal Cheaper Home Batteries discount. Both come off the price you pay. We handle the applications and the distributor paperwork.
The battery discount steps down on a fixed schedule, so an earlier install date gets the bigger discount. Eligibility and equipment requirements apply. Solar Victoria applies to Victorian properties only; Albury customers are covered by the federal programs. Confirm current requirements for your installation date. How to get the battery rebate.

FAQ
Quick answers to the most common questions about solar, batteries, installation and savings.
Call (02) 6021 2000How much does solar cost in Albury-Wodonga?
It depends on the size of the system, the panels and inverter you choose, and whether you add a battery. So we don’t publish a price list. Send us a recent bill and our solar consultant will quote a real number for your home, free and with no obligation. Most systems pay for themselves in 3–6 years.
How much will I save?
Savings usually range between 50% and 100% of your electricity costs, depending on system size and when you use power. Adding a battery pushes that higher, because you run the evening on your own stored power instead of buying it back at peak rates. We estimate your figure from your actual usage before you commit.
How long until it pays for itself?
Most households see payback within 3 to 6 years, depending on energy use, electricity prices and any rebates. Battery systems can take longer, but they add security and independence. After payback, the panels keep producing — and they carry 25 to 30 year warranties.
What rebates can I get?
The federal STC discount lowers the upfront cost of panels for everyone. Eligible home batteries get the federal Cheaper Home Batteries discount. Victorian owner-occupiers may also qualify for the Solar Victoria panel rebate. We handle the applications and the distributor paperwork on your behalf.
Does solar work on cloudy days?
Yes, at reduced output. Panels do not generate at night, which is where a battery comes in: it stores your daytime surplus so you can run the house on it after dark.
Can I add a battery later?
Yes. Many people start with panels and add storage when it suits their budget. Tell us a battery might be on the cards and we design for it, choosing an inverter and switchboard layout that makes adding one later straightforward.
